Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar of Toronto is pleased to announce its proposed plan of building Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar of Toronto (SGYP) is a registered charitable organization operating in the GTA, Canada since 2003. It is dedicated to the promotion Hindu culture and individual spiritual advancement through worship of Lord Ganesh and Hindu deities. It actively participates in activities like Blood Donation Camps and Tree Plantations, and runs Food Banks Donation drives, Fund raising for Disaster Relief and Cancer Research to serve the community at large. This 500+ strong Member Organization, SGYP has cherished as its ultimate long term objective to build a Ganesh Temple and Community Centre in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). We are pleased to take the first step to move closer to realizing our dream since inception.
Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai, India is a revered Ganesh Temple worshipped by millions of devotees from around the Globe. The Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Mumbai is operated by the Government of Maharashtra State, India. The significant income generated by the Trust is used to fund Medical, Healthcare and Educational Services by the Trust, benefitting the community at large.
Shri Pravin Naik, an Architect by profession has been a Trustee serving on the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir Trust for past eight years. He has been instrumental in mobilizing donations and expanding the Trust’s Community Services manifold. He has also been individually instrumental in promoting and establishing Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandirs in foreign lands. He has been the main force behind building the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandirs in Fremont, California and Toms River, New Jersey, U.S.A.
Shri Pravin Naik, after diligent background search, has agreed to collaborate with Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar to build the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre in GTA (Greater Toronto Area), Canada. We are truly excited with this news. Further we are informed that the SGYP has received one of the three original Kalas (temple sanctum dome adornment) of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. The other two Kalas now adorn the two USA built Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandirs. We are also blessed with a replica of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Dhyan (Murti), a personal offering from Shri Pravin Naik. We are pleased to share these images of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Dhyan being blessed with full rituals in the inner sanctum of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Mumbai, India, before being crated for shipment to Toronto. Shri Pravin Naik is arriving in Toronto on March 30th to attend Pariwar’s Annual Hindu New Year - Gudhi Padwa Celebrations marked by the Geet Ramayan Recital by Shree Dhananjay Bhosekar & Group on Sunday, April 2nd 2017, where Pariwar will formally announce the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre proposal in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada.
On Friday, March 31st 2017, Shri Pravin Naik along with SGYP Executives and members will visit the Hindu Samaj of Hamilton and Region Temple to attend a special Ganesh Puja and Havan (SGYP has a long-standing Association with Hamilton Hindu Temple. The SGYP has donated the gold Astha Vinayak Plaques and performs Ganesh Puja annually). At this Puja Shri Pravin Naik and SGYP Executive will seek Ganesh “Anudnya” (permission) for our Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre Building Project. As a Trustee representing the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir Trust, Mumbai, India, Shri Pravin Naik will be honoured by the Hamilton Hindu Temple and Shri Naik will then address the congregation and seek their support for our project.
With his considerable Global network of Ganesh devotees, Shri Pravin Naik has assured us of providing all help in our fund-raising efforts. Shri Naik will also guide us in an advisory capacity for all aspects of this project planning and management.
We believe, we have been given a divine task to fulfil. The Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Dhyan with the Original Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Mumbai temple “Kalas” has arrived in Toronto!! Let’s Welcome Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati and the Mandir Kalas, and let’s welcome Shri Pravin Naik! Let’s work together to build a Vaastu we can all be proud of, and bring home, the Shri Siddhi Vinayak to Canada!!
