Program details are as follows: Shodashopchar Ganesh pooja with Atharvashirsha recitations This will be followed by arati and prasad. Details of SGYP’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) planned for Q1-2019 will be shared soon! Pursuant to the new By-laws, voting at the Annual General Meeting is restricted to members who have paid donations of $51 or more in each calendar year. Please take an active part in shaping the future of your community organization and support our ongoing activities! Pariwar is actively making dedicated efforts in raising funds to accomplish its goal towards community development. We are excited to inform that we have begun to receive donations globally through our website. We have made it convenient for you to donate through Pariwar's secured website (PayPal & credit card) - http://www.sgypariwar.com/donate/ Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund: The general membership unanimously approved a new Bylaw enabling the establishment of the Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund for the purpose of acquiring immovable and long-term properties. It has been our long-cherished dream to set up a Ganapati Temple and Community Centre that becomes an integral part and identity of our community in the GTA. The Fund will also ensure the ongoing sustainability of finances of Pariwar.  Membership of the Endowment Fund is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of$1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations. We look forward to your active continued support and participation in all our events. Ongoing Food Drive:  We now run an ongoing food driveround the year to support the food banks around the GTA and Kitchener-Hamilton area. Please feel free to make your canned food or cash donations (preferred by the Canadian Food bank) at our monthly events or online through Pariwar's website.  All collections for food donations are fully paid to theFood banks within GTA. Donations of $20 and over will be issued official donation receipts for tax purposes.
