Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar (SGYP) is pleased to announce the opportunity of performing the sacred pooja of Mahashivratri - 2021 from the sanctity of your homes.   Please join us as we worship Lord Shiva during the divine occasion of Maha Shivaratri.  The program (virtual) will start on Thursday March-11th, 2021 at 7.30 PM   To recite these compositions as a group and share this time together with the Divine presence of Lord Shiva and Parvati, we will perform a pooja this year as outlined below --   We will do Sadyojat Vidhan Puja, Rudra Abhisheka to Shivalinga along with Shree Lalita Sahasranama (thousand names of Goddess Lalitha).  The Abhishek can be offered with water, milk, honey, sugarcane juice or panchamrit.   Suggested Dress Code: In alignment with the Vedic significance of clothing when conducting pooja, we recommend that all devotees wear traditional clothes (for men kurta pajama, Dhoti with Upavastra, and sari for ladies).
